Meet our Laying Hens!
Our flock of laying hens is currently around 70 birds. There are many different breeds within our flock including White Leghorns, Red Stars, Back Stars, and Brahmas. Roughly 30 of these hens are still growing and will begin to lay eggs within the next few months. Our flock typically produces between 30-50 eggs a day during the warmer months. Fun Fact: In most cases, the color of a chicken's ear will tell you the color of egg it will produce!
